PhilAuto Expo – the Philippines International Auto Parts, Accessories and Service and Repair Equipment Exhibition will be back again after its successful launch in 2014 to power up the fast expanding automotive industry in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest growing market. PhilAuto’15 will be held again at SMX, the venue in Manila, but the show will be repositioned to a date from 17-19 July 2015 which will include the weekend to allow more dealers to attend.
The automotive industry continues to grow at a rapid pace as the Philippines economy remains strong. The number of new vehicles grew over 10 per cent as the rising income spurred demand. New car sale is projected to reach 250,000 units in 2015. On the other hand, the Philippines is also one of the biggest importer of used/reconditioned vehicles and a high percentage of vehicles over 10 years.
These factors have created an increasing demand for more technically advanced service, diagnostic and repair equipment and also auto parts, and accessories. PhilAuto’15 is the established business-to-business platform to bring together auto aftermarket and garage equipment suppliers and auto parts and accessories shops, retailers, distributors and service and repair workshops and garages to build new business partnerships and reinforce relationships and introduce new products.
PhilAuto’15 is expected to be bigger and will showcase over 200 exhibitors and brands from 16 countries including Pavilions from China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
