WANO Launches One Stop Shop Commercial Vehicle Parts Business

Bapcor has announced the launch of a commercial vehicle parts business called WANO, which has absorbed the capabilities of HIM Spares, Don Kyatt Queensland, He Knows Truck Parts, I Know Parts, Japanese Trucks Australia, Japanese Commercial Spares and Truck Parts Dubbo.

According to Bapcor, WANO is a one-stop national parts destination offering Australia’s most comprehensive range of parts for Japanese and Asian commercial vehicle parts. A single contact now links commercial vehicle owners and operators to Australia’s largest resource of aftermarket parts for commercial vehicles, including couriers, delivery drivers, and buses. WANO has in-store, online and phone service, backed by a constantly updated parts catalogue.

Mathew Cooper, Executive General Manager of Bapcor Mechanical, said WANO represents the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in Australia’s commercial vehicle parts business.

“Combining more than a half century of expertise and premium quality parts sourcing for Australia’s constantly growing Japanese and Asian commercial vehicle sector, WANO brings a new level of stockholding, customer service and convenience to this important automotive aftermarket sector through this new and unique national brand,” he said.

“In seeking to provide the best possible customer service and value to as many repairers as possible, we plan to extend the WANO store national footprint to reach 40 stores by 2025 to meet the demand of this growing automotive aftermarket sector.”
