Stuart Faid Joins AMA Group As EGM Specialist Businesses

Stuart Faid has been appointed Executive General Manager Specialist Businesses at AMA Group, taking effect on Monday 15th April 2024.

Faid has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. After starting his career with the Volkswagen Group in the UK, he has worked in and with collision repair, retail, dealerships, original equipment manufacturers, and service providers. Most recently, Faid was the Regional Vice President and Head of Business – Asia, Australia, and New Zealand for Fix Network World, a global aftermarket services business.

Faid’s career in the automotive industry has seen him living and working across multiple geographies including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. Faid has also worked with businesses including MSX International and Daimler Group.

AMA Group said that as Executive General Manager Specialist Businesses, Faid will be responsible for the newly formed Specialist Businesses unit, which will include AMA Group’s TechRight advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) calibration business, as well as TrackRight, the group’s mechanical business, along with AMA Prestige collision repair. He will also be responsible for developing new, ancillary business operations, technical training, and marketing.
