Standolink App Links Australia Refinishers To Standox Information

Axalta refinish coating brand Standox has launched the Standolink app for iOS and Android devices in Australia and New Zealand. According to Axalta, the new app allows Standox users to access crucial information in a quick and effective way straight from their device, with product information, technical and safety data sheets, and best practice training videos available.

“The innovative Standolink app is a great asset which provides a modern, easy-to-use digital experience for Standox customers in Australia and New Zealand,” the company said. “It is divided into topics and resources, and designed in a way to allow body shops to access essential information efficiently and easily. Topics include data sheets, colour retrieval, recent news and a distributor locator.”

Much like the recently-launched Spies Hecker app, the company says two noteworthy features in the Standox app are the barcode scanner, which allows easy access to technical data, and the humidity indicator in the weather section. The app is used in conjunction with the device’s camera, allowing the user to scan the product barcode on the side of the can to retrieve application data such as mixing ratios, spray gun settings and number of coats required. The humidity indicator gives users the ability to check local humidity and adapt paint application to the specific humidity conditions.

The Standolink app is available for free for iOS devices in the Apple App Store and Android devices in the Google Play Store.
