Spies Hecker Introduces Permasolid Speed-Tec Plastic Additive 9260 To Australia

Spies Hecker Launches Permasolid Speed-TEC Plastic Additive 9260 In Australia

Spies Hecker says it is helping body shops accelerate the plastic repair process with the addition of Permasolid Speed-TEC Plastic Additive 9260 to its Speed-TEC portfolio.

The new direct-to-plastic additive was developed for mixing with Permasolid Speed-TEC HS Speed Surfacer 5500 and Permasolid Speed-TEC HS Wet-on-Wet Speed Surfacer 5550.

“Spies Hecker understands that speed is of the essence for today’s busy body shops,” said Kevin Welling, Training Academy Manager for Axalta in the UK and Ireland. “The new direct-to-plastic additive is the ideal solution to increase throughput, with fewer process steps for plastic repairs.”

Spies Hecker says when Permasolid Speed-TEC Plastic Additive 9260 is used with Permasolid Speed-TEC HS Speed Surfacer 5500 and Permasolid Speed-TEC HS Wet-on-Wet Speed Surfacer 5550, it can be applied directly to plastic parts thanks to flexibility and adhesion properties needed to repair most common exterior plastic car parts.

According to Spies Hecker, the plastic repair process is further accelerated as the additive can easily be mixed in every shade from pure white to black, meaning there is a suitable shade for every colour repair.
