SATA’s new special edition SATAjet X 5500 FUTURE spray gun will make its world debut on 13 September 2022. According to SATA, the gun’s green colour is a reference to nature and “a symbol for harmony and hope”, especially for the future.
“We are striving for a sustainable and connected future that makes the most out of the potentials of the digital transformation,” SATA said. “The globe-shaped circuits on the spray gun represent the technology which is connecting people and thus enables the globalised world of the future. The radiant green colour with the black components not only looks harmonious, it stands for aligning our actions with sustainability and the preservation of nature.”
The SATAjet X 5500 FUTURE is a fully functional spray gun with all the features of the regular SATAjet X 5500, including the “revolutionary” X Nozzle System. It is available in a variety of nozzle sizes, shapes (I or O), as HVLP and RP, and in standard or digital versions:

For Australia, local distributor PPG confirmed to BodyShop News that it is expecting the SATAjet X 5500 FUTURE to arrive between September and October, subject to supply chain delays. The company says that unlike other special editions, this spray gun will be available in very limited numbers in Australia, so interested painters looking to secure one should contact their authorised SATA distributor without delay.
