SATA Introduces SATAjet K 1800 Spray Mix

SATA has introduced the SATAjet K 1800 spray mix, an innovative new spray gun for applying water- and solvent-based ultra-high-pressure coatings.

Using ‘spray mix technology’, paint is applied at ultra-high pressure, creating a pre-formed airless spray fan. Compressed air is fed through the air cap to the spray fan, helping to shape it and enabling even droplet distribution. SATA said the gun delivers high surface quality at a pressure range of 50 to 250 bars.

Due to the various adjustment options and finely tuned nozzle range, SATA said the K 1800 aids profitability and is perfectly suited to the automotive industry.

According to SATA, the lightweight gun features a well-balanced body and an optimised ergonomic design. Combined with a single-axis trigger system and low trigger force of 24 Nm, the gun enables fatigue-free working, even during longer coating sessions. It also has an easy to clean, corrosion-resistant anodised surface and an innovative ‘clampLock’ paint needle system, enabling easier maintenance.

Other features include:

  • Ball-shaped tip of the paint needle for a perfect sealing
  • Pre-nozzle with tungsten carbide insert
  • Paint nozzle with tungsten carbide core
  • Trigger with integrated lock
  • Round/flat spray control
  • Material connection: G1/4 NPSM
  • Air connection: G1/4
  • Optional swivel joints for air and material connection. Swivel joints can also be retrofitted.

The SATAjet K 1800 spray mix is available in three versions and different nozzle sizes for your individual setup.

  • Basic version (material tube, filter and paint nozzle not included)
  • With material tube and a short 100 mesh filter (paint nozzle not included)
  • With material tube and a long 100 mesh filter (paint nozzle not included)
