RPM Appoints Lawrence Jaffe As Chairman In Strategic Board Refresh

RPM Automotive Group has announced that current Non-Executive Director Lawrence Jaffe will become Non-Executive Chairman, replacing Grant Carman who will remain on the board as Non-Executive Director.

Jaffe is a co-founder of RPM Automotive Group and a major shareholder, with more than 25 years of experience in the automotive sector. He served as CEO of RPM Australasia until 2015 when the group completed the sale of its largest subsidiaries. He then became Non-Executive Chairman until the company listed, before re-joining the executive team. RPM said Jaffe has extensive expertise in finance coupled with a proven track record of building and scaling businesses. He also has a history of successfully navigating the complexities of financial landscapes, contributing to the growth and development of substantial enterprises.

“This board refresh signifies the company’s transition as it matures into a new era of leadership,” said Clive Finkelstein, Managing Director and CEO of RPM. “Building on the revitalisation of the senior executive team with the appointment of Guy Nicholls as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer and Rebecca Payne as Chief Financial Officer, these changes highlight the increased focus on operational excellence as we scale RPM for our next phase of growth.

“The board wishes to thank Grant for his significant contribution as Chairman over the past 4.5 years and looks forward to his continued support and expertise in his new role as Non-Executive Director of the company”.
