PPG To Go Big At Summernats 35

PPG will have a major presence at Summernats 35 next month, with a team of nine experts to host the company’s display at its familiar ‘PPG Corner’ location in Canberra’s Exhibition Park.

“Summernats 35 is going to be big. We have a large PPG marquee this year and we are going to need it,” said Sam Minter, PPG Commercial Transport Manager NSW and custom vehicle enthusiast. “One of the most obvious drawcards will be the chance to get up close to the elegant ‘Champagne Lady’ custom car built by Andy’s Restorations and finished in custom PPG paintwork. There will also be some very cool custom BMX bikes and pedal cars, as well as a display of epic Mooneyes products.

“Another big attraction is sure to be our virtual spray-painting simulator. Strapping on the headset takes you right into the booth where you can try your hand at getting the perfect paint application.”

PPG will also have ‘a wall of colour’, consisting of more than 150 panels featuring the company’s Vibrance Collection finishes, from Murano Pearls, Harlequin, and Radiance II Candy to Prizmatique, Ditzler Big Flake, and Flamboyance.

“Best of all, this is the perfect place to chat one-on-one with a PPG expert,” said Minter. “As well as tapping into their knowledge and advice for tackling your latest build or dream project, they can also help navigate through the colour selection process to get the exact finish required.”

Summernats 35 will take place from 5 to 8 January 2023.
