Plastfix Opens Up Specialty Products To Distributors

Plastfix has announced that it will market its own range of specialty products to the wider collision repair industry via distributors, opening up access beyond Plastfix direct customers. The range consists of plastic welding rods, 3D printed heat and push hand tools, pin hole adhesive, finishing files, and sanding net abrasives.

Plastfix says its specialty products were developed over a number of years under workplace conditions and are supported by the company’s specialised certified training programmes which follow recommended OEM manufacturer repair specifications. This ensures consumer safety and customer satisfaction by providing the highest quality repair.

The Plastfix products and specialised training packages will be available to distributors from early June in Australia and New Zealand, with distribution to the USA and Canada in “the final stages”.

According to Plastfix, its methodology is founded on repairing damaged plastic parts rather than replacing them with new ones, which can significantly minimise the amount of automotive plastic waste going to landfill, reduce carbon dioxide generated by the automotive manufacturing and repair sectors, and provide environmental benefits to the whole community.
