NRMA Insurance Expands Into WA And SA

NRMA Insurance has officially launched in Western Australia and South Australia as part of its national expansion of the motor, home and business general insurance brand, joining sister brands SGIO and SGIC.

The expansion creates additional roles at the organisation’s largest Australian call centre in West Perth, with 147 local consultants supporting West Australian customers bringing the total number of local employees to 800.

NRMA Insurance Group Executive Julie Batch said she was proud to be expanding the brand.

“For almost a hundred years, millions of Australians have looked to us to have their back and we’re now delighted to be helping people across Western Australia and South Australia,” Batch said.

“Whether it’s being there to help get someone back on the road following a car accident, or helping people rebuild their lives following a natural disaster, customers can be confident NRMA Insurance will help them every step of the way.

“From Kununurra all the way down to Mount Gambier, we hope our products will cater to the unique style of West Australians and South Australians and provide more choice when deciding how to protect the things they care about – their cars, homes, or businesses.”

NRMA Insurance launched into Western Australia with a $500,000 donation at Telethon last month to help provide critical health and wellbeing services to children in Western Australia.
