November 2020 CIECAst Webinar Focuses On The Future Of EVs

The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) has announced that its November 2020 CIECAst Webinar, “The Future of Electric Vehicles”, will be held on Tuesday 17 November at 11 AM USA CST. It will run for one hour and feature Mark Kaufman, Global Director of Electrification at Ford.

Kaufman will discuss the expected timeline for the increased use of EVs and Ford’s approach to electrification, while also discussing Ford Certified Collision Network preparedness for EV collision repair.

Kaufman joined Ford in 1989. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Michigan, an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and a MBA from the University of Michigan.

Kaufman currently leads the company’s overarching strategy for electrified vehicles and heads Ford Team Edison. The team was formed in October 2017 and is the company’s dedicated global cross-functional battery electric vehicle team. In his role, Kaufman is responsible for leading dozens of teams worldwide, all working collaboratively to bring electric vehicles, technology and services to market.
