MotorClassica Postponed One Year To October 2022

MotorClassica 2021 has been postponed to 7 to 9 October 2022 due to COVID-19. Last year’s event did not go ahead due to the pandemic, meaning it will be three years between the next scheduled exhibition and the most recent one held in 2019.

“Last year when COVID hit and forced us to postpone the 2020 event, we had hoped to bring the motoring community together at the Royal Exhibition Building in October 2021,” said Jon Perry, Event Director at Exhibitions & Trade Fairs, organiser of Motorclassica.

“Unfortunately, it’s still a very uncertain climate and given the current circumstances we don’t believe we can host and create the experience you are accustomed to. Instead, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone until 2022, when we feel we can bring you an even greater spectacle.

Perry added that while he understood the disappointment many people would feel, he and the event’s Curatorial Board were looking at “some new opportunities” to bring to Motorclassica 2022 that will make it worth the wait.

“Motorclassica has always been much more than a car event. It is a celebration of great friendships and great cars, and we thank everyone who has expressed their continued support for Motorclassica no matter the date,” he said.

Perry encourages interested parties to monitor MotorClassica’s social media channels for updates on the event.
