PPG says the new Mirka Work Station clips neatly onto the Mirka Dust Extractor 1230 / 1242 Series unit to create a workshop accessory that can boost job efficiency.
The compact shelf and hook system instantly converts a dust extractor unit into a functional work station that can place a range of tools and accessories at technicians’ fingertips. As a result, there is no need to leave jobs, meaning touch-time increases and cycle-time reduces.
In addition to convenient hooks for holding sanding tools and a vacuum hose when not in use, the Work Station includes dedicated space for Mirka’s Systainer style cases, which provide a handy place to store items such as spare abrasives and tools.
There is also an upper shelf with space to hold four 150-millimetre disc boxes allowing for abrasives to be kept readily at hand, and a square hole grid system for easy repositioning of components and extra shelves. Extra hooks are available for purchase so you can adjust the unit to suit your needs.
