Mirka Releases ANGOS ARG-B 200 Battery Powered Grinding Tool

Mirka’s new ANGOS ARG-B 200 battery powered tool offers cordless convenience to tackle grinding jobs wherever they may be located within your workshop.

The unit features a battery-powered brushless electric motor, wide and controllable speed adjustment in seven steps between 2,500rpm and 20,000rpm, and a compact design making it ideal for “a multitude of common workshop operations”.

Thanks to a quick lock adaptor, the tool can be quickly and easily configured with a variety of accessories for grinding and sanding metal, cleaning after welding, surface conditioning, cutting, deburring and paint removal. Mirka says this makes it capable of replacing a number of conventional tools in addition to eliminating noisy and difficult to control pneumatic tools.

Bluetooth connectivity provides the option of additional features via the myMirka app, such as vibrations management, rpm range management and auto-stop function, although some of these options are in-app purchases.

Mirka says the lightweight, ergonomic design gives the ANGOS ARG-B 200 “excellent balance” and as it is not tethered by a pneumatic air hose or electrical cord, technicians enjoy a less cluttered workspace and the freedom to reach hard-to-reach places.

A range of lithium-ion batteries is available to purchase separately.

The ANGOS ARG-B 200 is available to order now from your authorised Mirka distributor.
