The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association’s (CIECA) next webinar, titled ‘The New, New Normal and the Impact on the Claims & Collision Industry’, is scheduled for 26 January at 11 am USA PT. The one-hour webinar will feature Sean Carey, President of SCG Management Consultants.
During the live broadcast, Carey will talk about the cost of COVID-19 to the claims and collision repair industry, how it is handling the ‘long tail of COVID-19’, and the lagging consequences to the market. He will also discuss how the ‘new, new normal’ will be around for a long time and have a lasting impact on the industry. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
Carey, with more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry, is a mechanical engineer by trade who worked at one of the largest parts distribution companies in the UK. He then joined Nissan at its London headquarters where he created and managed its certified collision repair programme.
After moving to the USA in 1995, Carey established Carter & Carter International and in 2009, created SCG Management Consultants. Since then, Carey has consulted with all sectors of the automotive claims industry and become a regular speaker at industry conferences on the subject of telematics and the connected vehicle, identifying the potential impact these technologies will have on the claims and collision market.
