IBISTV Delayed To December Amid England Lockdown

The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) has announced a new date of Thursday 17 December for the IBISTV Global Summit event as a fresh COVID-19 lockdown in England presents obstacles to organisers.

The IBIS team says it was approaching the final stages of preparation for the launch of IBISTV Global Summit on 19 November. However, with the second wave coronavirus lockdown in England having begun and due to last for one month from 5 November, organisers say it is no longer possible to build a physical television studio from which to stream the programme live.

Not wishing to change or cancel the line-up IBIS has in store for its viewers, the team decided to postpone the IBISTV broadcast to Thursday 17 December.

IBIS says it will contact all current registrants with a view to honouring their bookings for the new date, and is “very grateful” to sponsoring partners and the IBISTV Global Summit steering group for their flexibility and support in enabling it to make all the arrangements for the new date.

The virtual IBIS production team, the presenters and all those involved in producing the programme say they are “looking forward immensely” to connecting with its global television audience on 17 December, adding that further communications will appear on the IBIS website and social media feeds over the coming weeks.
