IBIS Global Summit 2023 Presents Solutions To International Industry Challenges

IBIS says the 2023 edition of its flagship event, the IBIS Global Summit in Milan, resonated on an international scale, with large numbers of people attending live in Italy and observing via social media and the televised livestream feed.

The IBIS Global Summit agenda, which continued the 2023 theme of ‘Sustainable Strategies for Success’, tackled some of the main challenges facing the international collision repair industry such as parts and the supply chain, people and skills, technology, insurance claims, and insurer relationships.

The event drew delegates from 31 countries and speakers from eight nations, while viewers from 24 countries watched the livestream broadcast.

With 397 delegates registered to attend, IBIS said the event’s popularity created a few minor logistical challenges for its team, but the guest response was overwhelmingly positive.

“I’m still awestruck,” one delegate told IBIS. “Connecting with an all-star list of industry game-changers and hearing their experiences and perspectives reminded me what an exciting time this truly is. From AI integration to the skills shortage and how to solve it, the information and visions for the future were unlike anything I had previously experienced.”

Others described the event as “a very exciting summit with very positive networking possibilities”, “outstanding content and organisation”, and “it was the perfect opportunity to catch up with customers and colleagues and to introduce ourselves and our services to new clients”.

The IBIS Global Summit 2024 will take place in Rhodes, Greece from 21 to 23 May.
