I-CAR Gold Class Goes To Jackson Bros Wallsend Smash Repairs

Jackson Bros Wallsend Smash Repairs in Maryland, NSW has been awarded I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.

Part of the IAG (NRMA) and Youi repairer networks, Jackson Bros Wallsend said the business entered the Road to Gold programme to ensure its team was up-to-date with the latest technology and practices in motor vehicle repairs and refinishing.

“We found the process extremely easy to navigate as well as incredibly accessible – utilising the virtual classroom as often as possible to minimise the time the team was off the floor,” the company said in a statement.

“As there are only so many refinishing courses offered, we were able to contact PPG to arrange our lead refinish tech to complete a course to obtain Platinum Status.

“The whole I-CAR team were great to deal with. From our first contact with admin staff on to the instructors and all staff involved, we have had an invigorating learning experience and have developed an eagerness to continue our Gold Class renewal training to learn more about our industry, its practices and evolving technologies.”

I-CAR said the requirement for training in the automotive body repair industry is becoming more important than ever.

“The Gold Class status is the highest level of accreditation within the I-CAR Professional Development Program and highlights Jackson Bros Wallsend Smash Repairs’ ongoing commitment of having the skills and knowledge required to safely repair modern vehicles,” the organisation said.
