I-CAR Australia Awards Gold Class To Super Tek Collision Repairs

I-CAR Australia has announced that Super Tek Collision Repairs in Thornbury, Victoria has received I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.

“We are very proud to have achieved I-CAR Gold Class status and thank the team at I-CAR Australia for providing such a well-structured training programme,” said Terry Carpenter, Managing Director at Super Tek Collision Repairs.

“This has allowed us the opportunity to commit to ongoing training, which ensures our team stays up to date with motor vehicle technology, broadening their skills and knowledge on repair and refinishing processes to deliver quality workmanship.

“It has been extremely challenging over this COVID-19 pandemic and our staff have embraced the training enthusiastically.”

Gary Wood, Gold Class Coordinator at I-CAR Australia, explained that Super Tek had been a regular participant in I-CAR training for a number of years.

“This involvement, coupled with the training required as a Subaru Preferred Repairer, has seen the well-respected business now achieve the I-CAR Gold Class designation,” said Wood.

“Terry and the team have taken full advantage of the various training options provided by I-CAR, including live classroom, online virtual sessions, fully online training, the I-CAR steel welding certification and specialist refinish training arranged with our Industry Training Alliance partner, PPG.

“It is fantastic to see another Victorian repairer end the year on a high by achieving the accreditation. Extremely well done to everyone involved.”
