I-CAR Announces Gold Class Status For Paddington Prestige Smash Repairs

I-CAR Australia has awarded Gold Class Collision status to Paddington Prestige Smash Repairs in Banksmeadow, New South Wales.

Ned Robinson, Co-Director of Paddington Prestige Smash Repairs, said it was rewarding to see the staff embrace a “learning culture” and their ability to take on new information and methods.

“The I-CAR training process was easy. The way the virtual classroom course was implemented and delivered made it really easy for our team to take on and learn the information. Additionally, we used some of the courses as ‘refreshers’ for our team members who have been in the industry for quite some time,” Robinson said.

Robinson said the company’s longstanding relationship with I-CAR, ITA, Car-O-Liner, BMW and Glasurit have enabled staff to further their knowledge and helped the “Road to Gold journey”. The business intends to continue learning using platforms such as I-CAR’s annual Gold Class renewal training, leading to staff achieving I-CAR Platinum Individual status.

Gary Wood, Senior Technical Specialist at I-CAR Australia, said Paddington Prestige Smash Repairs’ Gold Class status was achieved through “dedication and determination”.

“They first enquired about the Gold Class programme in April 2021, and through the Road To Gold review programme, had all six technicians attain Gold Class in just over a year. We’re thrilled to have been able to guide them with their role-relevant pathways and look forward to continuing so in the future,” Wood said.
