Pomroy Panels in Niddrie, Victoria has been awarded I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.
Adding the accreditation to its various insurance repairer network and Certified Subaru Repairer credentials, Pomroy Panels has joined the growing number of I-CAR Gold Class-accredited repairers. I-CAR said the additional knowledge gained through Gold Class training places the repairer in a strong position to overcome the challenges presented by the ever-evolving body repair industry.
“We decided to enter the programme to enhance our knowledge of a rapidly changing industry,” said Craig Sharman, Manager of Pomroy Panels. “All the staff gave positive feedback about the courses they completed and felt they benefitted from the extra education. Also, Axalta have delivered high quality on-site and off-site training which was important for our spray painters, giving them a hands-on learning experience.
“We would recommend this training to others because we feel it gives our customers confidence that their car is being repaired by people who have the knowledge and skill to perform those tasks. The whole industry could benefit.”
