PPG has announced the final results of its 2021 Colour Matching Competition during a special YouTube video presentation. Hayden Spence of New Zealand was named the winner, with Mirza Skrijelj of South Australia taking second place and Zachary Jones of New South Wales claiming third place.
Spence won a SATA Vision 5000 air hood, a Mirka Sander, and a PlayStation 5, while Skrijelj took home a Mirka Sander and an Apple Watch. Jones won a Mirka Sander and a Sonos Roam portable Bluetooth speaker. All finalists received a SATAjet X 5500 spray gun for winning their state / regional competition.
“Despite the many hurdles put in place by the [COVID-19] pandemic, a massive effort from the PPG organising team and TAFE facilities around the country has seen the 2021 PPG Colour Matching Competition come to a successful conclusion,” PPG said.
