Managing Director at Planning Plus Software, Gavin McGahey, has written a book for body repair business owners titled ‘Know Your Numbers, It’s the Heartbeat of Your Business’. 
McGahey says he is a forty-year veteran in the collision industry and has owned his own facility, adding that he knows the challenges presented by an ever-changing environment and has assisted many businesses, across many countries, with his unique coaching and consulting style coupled with Planning Plus software.
According to McGahey, the book is a refreshing and modern look at what takes place in today’s industry and aims to debunk some of the myths around profitability, diversification, incentivisation, culture, consolidation and a range of other topics.
McGahey has included a case study from his clients at the conclusion of each chapter, which he says provides authenticity to the subject matter and vulnerability on behalf of the business owner.
According to McGahey, ‘Know Your Numbers, It’s the Heartbeat of Your Business’ has already received “glowing endorsements” from some leading industry figures and will officially launch on 1 November. An audio version and eBook will also be available.
