Fix Network has announced the appointment of Sylvain Seguin as Executive Vice President of Canada.
Fix Network says that in his new role, Seguin will be responsible for driving all functions and operations in Canada, including sales, operations, business development and marketing. He will also establish and maintain long-term relationships with the network’s franchise strategic partners, insurers and distributors to enhance profitability and market position.
“Sylvain has been a vital member of my leadership team these past two years,” said Steve Leal, President and CEO of Fix Network. “His deep industry knowledge and experience have helped us improve our business model, ensuring the financial health and success of our operations in Canada. As the Fix Network continues to expand globally, Sylvain will bring continued leadership to the Canadian business with a deep focus on helping our network partners achieve profitability and growth.”
Seguin joined Fix Network in 2018 as Vice President of Operations. In this role, he had oversight of the operations teams for all brands in Canada which include Fix Auto, ProColor Collision, Novus Glass and Speedy Auto Service. Earlier this year, Seguin’s team led the network’s response to COVID-19, putting safety protocols in place for the protection of technicians in the shops as well as customers and the community.
Seguin has almost 30 years of experience in automotive aftermarket services. The company says he has held various positions with AkzoNobel – the last one as Canadian Country Manager, adding that he began his career in the industry as an automotive painter which gave him a unique, operations level perspective of the business.
