Fix Auto has added another NSW-based shop to its rapidly expanding network, with AAA Malibu Paint & Panel in Ingleburn agreeing to join as Fix Auto Macarthur.
In operation since 2000, the business was purchased by Aaron Samphier in 2016 and relocated to a new facility in 2019. Fix Auto said the new facility provided much-needed additional space to facilitate Samphier’s aggressive growth plans and upgrading of tools, technology and resources, ensuring the business could deliver the highest level of quality and service while managing additional volume.
Stuart Faid, Vice President of Fix Auto for Asia and head of the Australian business, welcomed Fix Auto Macarthur to the network.
“Aaron’s facility is outstanding. He has secured a great location with significant scale to grow his business and has spared no expense with equipping his people with all the tools and technology they need,” said Faid.
“Aaron has a passion for his business and a vision for continued growth. We look forward to achieving that together.
Samphier said he joined Fix Auto after realising the benefits that come from being part of a large network.
“I wanted to continue to own my business and stay in control of it, but recognised that as a single shop in a consolidating market I needed to find a way of staying relevant,” said Samphier.
“Fix Auto is an international brand with over 800 locations worldwide with access to industry best practices, systems and processes to increase profitability and efficiencies. It also provides opportunities with potential work providers.
“Most importantly, they have been nothing but supportive of my vision and the direction I want to take the business. In fact, I am confident that this partnership will make that vision entirely possible.”
Scott Holden, State General Manager for NSW and QLD for Fix Auto, said he is excited about the potential for Fix Auto Macarthur.
“When selecting partners for our network it is vital that they have the type of attitude that Aaron demonstrates day in and day out with his team and his customers. I look forward to building on Aaron’s success and working with the business to achieve its full potential,” said Holden.
