The organisers of the first Lyon edition of French exhibition Equip Auto have announced an array of highlights and special features, reflecting the trade show’s aim of bringing together suppliers and buyers in an enthusiastic and business-friendly atmosphere.
Five themed villages, three major forums, 10 panel discussions, and a car wrapping feature form part of the comprehensive programme of content. Prominent car wrapping expert Morgane Quetier from the RMC Decouverte TV show Les Reines de la Mecanique will be in Lyon for the duration of the three-day show, performing wrapping demonstrations in the exhibition’s body repair sector and providing visitors with the opportunity to test their skills.
With a focus on “fun and relaxation”, exhibitors and guests will have the chance to chat, be entertained, and take part in various sporting and culinary themed games and features on offer at the exhibitor party on 29 September. An outdoor ‘demo zone’ will also be set up for attendees.
Several demonstrations will take place, such as BMW’s exclusive showing of semi-autonomous driving technology used in the i7. The company will also highlight career opportunities offered as part of its commitment to technical training and supporting talent.
Autosmart, a global manufacturer of car care products, will present its franchise concept by displaying a mobile shop and product range, while hand tool manufacturer Facom will introduce its Demonstration Truck which will show the company’s range of products. The truck will also host a surprise event that Equip Auto Lyon said will delight fans of tools and the brand.
Other exhibitors at the fair include BASF Coating Services, Henkel, Rupes, Sia Abrasives, DeVilbiss, Fix Auto, GYS, Robert Bosch, Sherwin-Williams, and Spanesi.
Equip Auto Lyon 2023 will take place from 28 to 30 September at Eurexpo Lyon.
