Dirk Fuchs Headlines Final Reveal Of Top-Class BICC Presenters

In the final major reveal of speakers and panellists, Dirk Fuchs, US-based CEO and founder of Electric Mobility Consulting, will lead discussion during the New Vehicle Technology session at the BodyShop News International Collision Congress (BICC).

With over 20 years of automotive experience, Dirk has become a recognised industry subject matter expert in hybrid and EV technology. He says he founded Electric Mobility Consulting in reaction to the high demand for in-depth technical information from the industry.

In his previous role as Director of Technical Programs & Services at I-CAR USA, Dirk has been a featured speaker and panellist at automotive industry events and has been active in supporting automotive-related associations surrounding US national and state legislative activities.

His passion for the automotive industry began in 2002 as a technical training instructor for Volkswagen Germany. He was later recruited by ZF Services in Germany, where his responsibilities over the next 13 years included international technical service and sales training management. It was while serving as North American Training Manager at ZF Services in late 2020 that he was recruited by I-CAR to serve as Director Technical Programs & Services.

During the New Vehicle Technology session, Dirk will be joined by a group of panellists including Adrian Parkes, Founding Director at ADAS Solutions Australia, and renowned collision industry consultant Mark Czvitkovits.

CEO’S PERSPECTIVES

In one of the afternoon sessions, BodyShop News’ Michel Malik will head the presentation Leading from the Front – The CEO’s perspectives, which will feature a panel of leading international and Australian industry supplier leaders including Pierre Nicolau, President and CEO of Celette.

Additionally, the presentation will include a discussion on how three CEOs worked together with a group of industry stalwarts to launch the Australian Collision Industry Alliance (ACIA), with a short video played to showcase how the alliance was formed to attract and retain industry staff.
