Axalta brand Cromax has launched its new Croma-App mobile app for iOS and Android devices in Australia.
The app allows users to access product information, technical and safety data sheets, and best practice training videos, from their device in a quick and effective way. Axalta says Cromax customers in Australia and New Zealand can benefit greatly from the app as it provides a modern, easy-to-use digital experience.
“With a user-friendly design allowing body shops to access essential information at their fingertips, this app is an essential asset for refinishers,” the company said. Topics covered include data sheets, colour retrieval, recent news and a distributor locator.
Axalta highlights the included barcode scanner, which allows easy access to technical data sheets, along with the humidity indicator in the weather section, as hallmark features of Croma-App. Used in conjunction with the device’s camera, the barcode scanner allows the user to scan a product’s barcode on the side of the packaging to retrieve application data such as mixing ratios, spray gun settings and number of coats required, while the humidity indicator conveniently displays local humidity to ensure the painter can adapt paint application to the specific conditions.
Croma-App is now available for free in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
