Axalta Gold Coast Seminar Will Feature Mike Anderson, Covering Digital Transformation And AI

Axalta will collaborate with Mike Anderson from Collision Advice to present a one-day face-to-face seminar on how to navigate the changing collision repair industry. The ‘2023 and Beyond’ event will be held on Sunday 21 August 2022 at the Sofitel Broadbeach on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Axalta said Anderson brings extensive knowledge and experience from the US market, particularly around digital transformation and where artificial intelligence (AI) has progressed in the collision repair industry. The seminar will also cover team management and how to build the right team for your business as well as techniques for improving parts management.

“We are very pleased to invite Mike Anderson back to Australia to discuss ways to strengthen business and improve productivity,” said Robin Taylor, Axalta’s Services Manager. “Mike will share his insights into the US market, and some of the emerging trends that we are likely to see here in Australia.”

Axalta said the seminar provides a great networking opportunity for people in the industry to come together and share experiences and leave with a greater understanding of where the refinish industry is heading and how rapidly it is evolving.

According to Axalta, Anderson is a sought-after speaker, author and consultant who covers a wide range of topics including politics affecting collision repair, researching repairs properly via technology, giving and receiving the best from insurers, creating a unified and supportive work culture and performing a safe and correct repair.

He formerly owned multiple collision repair centres in Alexandria, Virginia, which held numerous OEM certifications and were voted the number one collision repair business for 12 years in a row in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia area.

Anderson now operates Collision Advice, an industry research, reference and consulting business. He also serves as a facilitator for Axalta’s Business Council 20 Groups in the US and Canada and conducts courses for companies such as Axalta, Toyota, Nissan and other OEMs. Speaking with passion and first-hand experience, Anderson teaches pertinent cutting-edge management and operational techniques.
