Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City To Help Body Repairers Adapt To High Technology Vehicles

Visitors to Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2024 can increase their understanding of new vehicle technology through special education sessions designed for body repairers.

This year’s Collision Repair Training Workshop will provide knowledge and hands-on exercises regarding EV repair, ADAS, safety, and workshop management, with the programme geared to business owners, industry professionals, and technicians.

Additionally, more than 500 exhibitors will showcase innovative mobility solutions, advanced technologies and a wide range of automotive products and services across halls A and B of the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center from 20 to 22 June 2024.

“In Vietnam, the roadmap for advancing the automotive industry will transform manufacturing, business processes and the aftermarket, as electric mobility emerges as one of the nation’s solutions for environmental protection. From this standpoint, innovation, new technologies, skilled professionals, efficient management practices and new business models are growing necessities, which is why our goal for Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City is to provide a platform for business people to explore trends while creating an open environment that can educate the general public about future transportation and mobility.”

The new Automotive Mobility Zone will showcase digitalisation, AI adoption, sustainability and ESG efforts that are shaping the future of transportation. The area will feature a range of electric and autonomous vehicle technologies, connectivity and smart mobility solutions, and conferences to address the industry’s ever-evolving needs. The area will facilitate insights about logistics, warehousing, supply chain management, automotive manufacturing, and automation to help participants understand different stages of their digital transformation.

Experts will discuss management systems for AI-based products and services as well as the implementation of Industry 4.0 and industrial automation (mechatronics, PLC, sensorics, pneumatics and robotics).

Other zones include Parts & Components, along with Automotive Repair, Maintenance & Care, and Accessories & Customising.

Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City’s fringe events will offer additional opportunities to discover the latest advancements, trends and updates.

The exhibition will also host autoFEST@HCMC, a community-oriented experience promoting automotive culture. For the first time, autoFEST@HCMC will introduce elements of gaming while the Drift and Stunt Show, along with the Auto NITZ Music Party return with a strong lineup of acts. The programme also includes the EMMA Vietnam – Car Audio and Modifications Competition, which will showcase more than 70 cars tuned by specialists.
