Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen is set to appear at the Automechanika CEO Breakfast, a new event that will kick off Automechanika Frankfurt on 13 September 2022. Hakkinen will be joined by Formula 1 business identity Mark Gallagher, with their ‘fireside chats’ to discuss the mindset needed to adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
Automechanika Frankfurt said the pair will delve into ‘lean and agile management’ and explore ‘team spirit’, especially when people are working together in times of extreme pressure.
According to the organisers of Automechanika Frankfurt, the automotive industry can learn from the experience of Hakkinen and Gallagher to help it cope with the challenges that digitalisation and diversification pose for the aftermarket sector. “That is because companies in the automotive industry have to adapt to the same rapid pace and react with the same speed and agility,” the organisers added.
The breakfast is aimed at exhibitors, decisionmakers, wholesalers, consultancies, and associations within the automotive aftermarket that wish to increase customer contact during Automechanika Frankfurt.
“We created the new CEO Breakfast format to offer a new opportunity for dialogue and inspiration,” said Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt. “With these two guests from the world of Formula 1, we want to help supply fresh insights for the industry.”
