Automechanika Birmingham App To Better Connect Visitors And Exhibitors

Automechanika Birmingham will offer visitors the chance to connect with exhibitors more easily at this year’s show by using an innovative networking app.

Powered by artificial intelligence, the app, which will be launched in the months leading up to the show, provides networking matches based on an intricate algorithm. The more visitors interact with the app by selecting their preferences, the better and more relevant exhibitor matches they receive.

Messe Frankfurt UK, organiser of Automechanika Birmingham, said visitors will be able to easily filter key reasons for visiting the show, allowing them to find their ‘perfect matches’ at the touch of a button.

The app will also recommend speakers, suggest pertinent panel discussions, book meetings and message one another, providing quality connections and saving valuable time during the show.

Exhibitors can highlight key product and service offerings, enabling them to attract their target audience and generate additional exposure. Additionally, exhibitors will receive insight into attendee behaviour patterns and view post-event analytics to establish connections and identify where improvement might be made.

“Networking just became even easier with this Automechanika Birmingham first,” said Alex Jones, Marketing Director of Messe Frankfurt UK. “This year, we’re expecting a record number of visitors through the door, and with 2023 set to be our biggest event to date, it’s important that both visitors and exhibitors are able to start their networking before they even get to the event. They can dive straight into business when they arrive and find the information and leads they are looking for in the most efficient manner, and that’s exactly what this app aims to achieve.”

Held from 6 to 8 June 2023 at the NEC, Automechanika Birmingham will be the first UK event since 2019 and is set to host 500 leading suppliers.

Messe Frankfurt UK says visitors can also benefit from a comprehensive programme of more than 192 hours of free skills training, technical talks, and topical discussions on current industry issues and inspiring new technology, in addition to live demonstrations in the Bodyshop Training Hub, Paint & Spray Live, and Collision Repair Live, presented by industry experts.
