Auto Parts Group Encourages Greater Female Participation In Body Repair

Auto Parts Group is awarding 10 $1,000 Wurth tool vouchers to women apprentices through its Women In Collision initiative. The promotion is open to all female trade apprentices in the body repair industry.

“It’s no secret the collision repair industry is facing labour shortages, especially when it comes to apprentices, who often struggle to afford the necessary tools to succeed,” the company said. “Auto Parts Group is committed to providing you real advantage, through material workforce support.”

“We believe in our industry and feel that this is a great way to back the next generation of female apprentices. It’s also an opportunity for you to secure your workforce and support the growth of your business. Even if you don’t have a female apprentice, we encourage you to spread the word and help support the broader industry.”

Nominations can be made by the apprentice or their employer. A 25-word statement showcasing the apprentice’s passion, commitment, and vision for the body repair industry is required for application evaluation.

The vouchers can be redeemed via the Wurth tool online portal, with unique log in details provided to each of the 10 recipients once selected.

To participate in the Women in Collision campaign, complete the application form on the company’s website before 20 August 2023.
