AMA Group has issued a JobKeeper Payment Disclosure to the Australian Securities Exchange detailing total payments of $63,649,500.
The number of people who received a JobKeeper payment for a JobKeeper fortnight was 3299 in FY2021 and 3342 in FY2020. The sum of all JobKeeper payments received in each financial year were $43,540,500 in FY2021 and $20,109,000.
AMA said every dollar of JobKeeper received was paid to its employees and it has not made voluntary JobKeeper repayments to the government.
According to AMA, the market announcement was provided in accordance with the requirements of the Treasury Laws Amendment (2021 Measures No.2) Act 2001. The Act requires listed entities to notify the market if the listed entity, or a subsidiary, received a JobKeeper payment (within the meaning of the Coronavirus Economic Response Package (Payments and Benefits) Rules 2020).
