AMA Group has appointed Brian Austin as an independent non-executive director to its board of directors, effective 1 December 2023. Austin previously served on the AMA Group board from December 2015 to February 2020.
According to AMA, Austin is an experienced ASX board director and serves as Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of PSC Insurance Group. He has more than 40 years of insurance industry experience, having held senior executive positions in publicly listed and private companies. Austin also has significant experience in strategy and acquisitions, and has developed a global network of relationships across the insurance industry.
AMA said Austin’s comprehensive knowledge of the company and the collision repair industry, as well as his connections to experienced members of the collision repair industry, will support decision making and ensure an appropriate level of industry knowledge is provided to the board.
