ACM Parts To Open New Queensland Distribution Centre

ACM Parts has executed a lease for a new distribution centre located at 9 Anton Road in Hemmant, Queensland.

AMA Group says that a key element of its strategy is growth of the ACM Parts supply business, which is supported by the move to the larger facility. The site offers more than 19,000 square metres of warehouse capacity, a significant increase over the current facility’s 5600 square metres.

Located close to the Port of Brisbane and the Gateway Motorway, the site will allow ACM Parts to better match the geographical spread of its customer base. The facility is equipped with direct access from covered loading bays and significant hardstand area.

According to Executive General Manager Adam O’Sullivan, the centre will allow ACM Parts to expand its inventory of reclaimed, new, and aftermarket parts, as well as consumables, building a stronger position in the mechanical and collision supply market.

“The new facility is more modern than our existing facility in Queensland, and I am excited about the opportunity for our team members to build their experience in the new location. It also provides an opportunity for advancement for our current team members as we grow our staffing levels,” said O’Sullivan.

ACM will begin the move into the new centre in late February 2023, and expects to be fully operational at the site from March.
