3M’s Dave Gunderson To Speak At IBIS Global Summit 2023

Dave Gunderson, Automotive Aftermarket Division (AAD) President at 3M, will participate in a collision industry supply chain session, which will include an on-stage interview and discussion, at the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) Global Summit.

Gunderson has extensive experience in the automotive industry, joining 3M in 1988 as a technical service engineer in Livonia, Michigan. Quickly progressing to leadership roles at the company’s headquarters in St Paul, Minnesota, USA, he has held global business positions in key AAD portfolios such as body structures and adhesives, masking tape, and advanced ceramics. Gunderson has also had integral roles in Six Sigma operations, strategic planning, and business development.

He also spearheaded the acquisition of Meguiar’s in California, serving as the first Director and Chief Operating Officer for Meguiar’s and the 3M branded Auto Care portfolios. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, and a Master of Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Minnesota.
